This week over on Make My Monday the theme is still Vintage but this week we were asked to do something with Embossing, wet or dry its up to you. So here is my card.
As you can see I have done a bit of both on my card. If you look close you can see the dry embossing on the black card that I used as a mat, but as that is hard to see I thought I should do some more and remembered I had bought some embossing and cutting bars when I was in the UK in April. I hunted them out and with a bit of practice as they had never been used I managed to get the edge done as you can see below.
The lady on the front of the card is a Clarity stamp that I have had for a year or so that I embossed using sepia Versafine ink and embossing with fine powder. I then coloured her in using Tims ink dabber's and a paint brush.
You can just about see the shine from the embossing in the last photo.
I must say a big Thank You to everyone who has joined in over on Make My Monday the last few weeks, the numbers are getting bigger each week and the work that has been done is just amazing. So if you have not had a go yet what are you waiting for, just follow the link and show us what you can do.
Thanks for reading,
Cath

Great card Cath - a wide variety of embossing and a gorgeous feminine image - Jacqueline xx
This is gorgeous Cath. Love the image stamp and the embossing is beautiful. I have a feeling I have that scalloped edge die too and it does look fabulous on here.
Have a good week.
Hugs, Fliss xx
Way to go, Cath. When given a choice, make both! I'm a big fan of dry embossing, but have never had good luck with wet. You did a fantastic job and it looks like you even added some shading. And no stray EP either! Great job.
love your card Cath, hugs Caz
