A big thank you and a little moan...

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I am feeling a little better, still not done anything with the table yet though. I think the heat this year along with my diabetes just floored me for a few days. But I am on the mend and will be back crafting in no time. Talking about crafting........ I have been looking at a fair few blogs lately, when my computer isn't crashing that is and I have noticed a lot of people going in for challenges. Ok there is nothing wrong with that, I like a good challenge myself now and again, though I normally miss the end date! but the thing that is bugging me is the amount of people who make something then list about a dozen challenges for it to go with. Some of which are a bit tenuous. Now to me that just isn't right! Is it just me or do others feel the same? please let me know, and if you are one of the people who do this please let me know why so I can see your side of the coin.
Ok I have rambled on enough.

Thanks for reading,

Hi Cath - I feel a little like that myself. I always try to fit my cards to every challenge I enter. What miffs me is that the winners of challenges are picked at random, so anyone can win whether they have stuck to the challenge rules or not. Glad to here you are feeling a little better - hope you get back to crafting soon - Jacqueline xx

Hi Cath, thanks for the lovely comment on my blog :)
As for the challenge blogs I'm a bit of a one project one challenge type of girl and I normally miss the end date too - but as Dale Winton says
"you've got to be in it to win it"........so give it a go!

Hmm never really thought about how many challenges people enter one thing for, I suppose it's one of those things that doesn't bother me :-/ I spend far too much time online as it is and to find loads of challenges to join would be more time spent which would be better actually doing something, though I'm always thinking that! I only do a few challenges. I like those that are fairly open not those where you have to use specific products or stamps.
Hope you're feeling a lot better now Cath ;-)
