WOYWW 83

Its good to be back and working on my own desk, I have missed you all this last few weeks. This time last week I was doing some last minute shopping and packing ready for our overnight flight back home. So what have I been up to since I got back? I managed to get sorted for Mondays class and last nights, but last nights class was cancelled due to the heavy rain. It looks like we had a whole years rain in one night. But you haven't come here to listen to me waffling on about the weather you have come to see my desk, so here it is.

As you can see I am working on my 12 days of Christmas swap, I thought I would bind all the pages in to a book using some of the papers they were wrapped in on the covers. You can also see right at the back the new Cath Kidston! bag I got at one of the markets I went to. And some wax paper that I have never seen before to stop my journal pages sticking when I am to impatient to wait to use the next page. Then right at the front a bag of Hershey's Kisses that someone bought me as I said I had never tried them before, I hadn't been missing anything. So if this has wetted your appetite for more go along to our leader Julia Here and she will direct you to more desks than you can imagine in all states of tidiness.

Thanks for reading,
 Cath

Sounds like a really busy time Cath, nice to get back to normal though. No, I agree, you certainly haven't been missing anything with regard to the Hersheys Kisses!!! Give me European chocolate any day of the week!!!

I think the Hersheys are an acquired taste, not easy after Cadbury!

You can talk of rain as often as you like. Here in Oxford we don't get enough and I love the stuff...
Silly, I know ...but I do love it. Thanks for the snoop around your workspace...hope the class will be re-positioned, I know how much prep goes into them.

Gotta love all those swap pages all stacked together. I hope your trip was fun. I'm hoping to see more of your blog after I finish this blog hop to see if there are photos of your trip.

Wax paper is something we take for granted in the US. I'm so glad you found some. It's ironic that wax paper is so plentiful, but good chocolate is not (here in the US). I agree that it is so inferior to European chocolate I've gotten to enjoy.

Happy WOYWW on Thursday from #16 and thank you SO MUCH for the darling rocking horse. I LOVE IT and showed it yesterday on my blog. Unfortunately, I opened the package after I did my WOYWW post.

Would love to see the finished book with all the tags in. Sounds like its going to be great. I could do with some wax paper too, patience has never been my middle name.

We are having a big dollop of rain here today! Or even snow if you live further north.

Looks like a very busy desk. I always wondered about the Hersheys Kisses, it's something you hear about but I've no idea what they are.
We've had about 2 inches of snow today!!!!

Welcome home welcome home we missed you! Bet you had a fab time again! Hershey's? Taste like parmesan, taste like sick to me. Urgh. Sorry! Love the idea for your book, specially using some of the wrappers too.
